Fare Leggere Tutti

FARE LEGGERE TUTTI is an association for social advancement for the promotion of reading for children and adolescents, with a focus on disadvantaged readers.
By decision 5958 of 04/14/2016 it is registered with the Emilia-Romagna register of associations.
The association counts teachers, parents, educators, linguists, sociologists, editorial professionals.

It is the brainchild of Rosanna Pasi, who had also come up with the theater project Leggereperballare®, subject of memorandum of understanding with the Italian Ministry of Education. Fare Leggere Tutti aims to take books “out” of the traditional reading settings and spaces, without moving away from them. It aims to bring books to all, especially to children, adolescents and disadvantaged readers.

Our projects concern the fusion between reading and performative arts, with the aim of inviting young people and children to explore music, dance, acting and singing starting from books and proving how it is possible to read a book and explore the world through other languages.

With this in mind, FARE LEGGERE TUTTI promotes awareness-raising initiatives on the importance of reading and arts and training ones for professionals and parents who are interested in new forms of reading and communication.

The pilot project for training in the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools started in Faenza in collaboration with the library Biblioteca Manfrediana, giving rise to training courses and a series of AAC picture books that can help readers with communication problems, very often neglected or devoid of the right tools, enter the world of reading and other new communication ones.

Changing books into other forms of expression, turning them into innovative communication tools: that’s FARE LEGGERE TUTTI, a series of initiatives and events in theaters, libraries and gathering places to promote the project also through civic networks, associationism and civil society.
